Fundamentals (level one) is a classroom course delivered by AHCCCS certified instructors who provide the skills practice and information you need to become a certified Direct Care Worker (DCW). All students that successfully complete the Direct Care Worker (DCW) certification are recognized by any caregiver employer in the state of Arizona, and will be entered into the statewide database. We utilize the Principles of Caregiving curriculum. Must be paired with a skills assessment and written exam. 6 hour class
